RIDOH reports 552 positive cases and 20 deaths

PROVIDENCE, R.I (WLNE) – The Rhode Island Department of Health reported 552 positive tests and 20 deaths related to COVID-19 on Monday.

The new numbers bring the state’s total to 74,071 positive cases and 1,555 deaths.

Rhode Island is seeing a 7.2% positive from the prior day and 8.9% for the week.

433 are currently hospitalized.

The state has administered 1,758,958 total tests.

Lifespan announced on Monday they received approximately 3,000 Pfizer vaccines.
