Closing arguments to begin in 2021 Fall River murder case

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — Closing arguments in a 2021 murder case are set to begin.

Jeremy Holmes was indicted on two murder charges, assault and battery with a firearm, a carrying a firearm without a license, and possession of a large capacity firearm.

incident back in 2021.

The victims were identified as 29-year-old Jovaughn Antonio Mills and 14-year-old Miguel Sanjurjo.

There was a third victim who did recover.

A second person, Dana Mazyck was also indicted on charges related to the incident.

Closing arguments in Holmes’ trial are set to begin at 9 a.m. in Fall River Superior Court.
