COVID-19 vaccine clinic for veterans to be held at URI
"We want to reach out to our South County Veteran population who may not be able to make the drive to Providence or Middletown."

KINGSTON, R.I. (WLNE)- The VA Providence Healthcare System will provide COVID-19 vaccinations to veterans on Saturday.
The clinic will be held at the University of Rhode Island campus at 25 West Independence Way from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
“The VA has expanded the vaccination criteria to all ages and we want to get the Veterans who are attending the University an opportunity to get the vaccine close to where they live,” said Larry Connell, Medical Center Director of the VA Providence Healthcare System.
“We also want to reach out to our South County Veteran population who may not be able to make the drive to Providence or Middletown.”
Veterans not enrolled in the VA Healthcare System must bring a copy of their DD214 and a photo ID.
The Healthcare System said veterans will also need to fill out a 1010EZ enrollment form. Forms will be available on site for those who cannot bring them.
