Jury trials resume in New Bedford

New Bedford, Mass. (WLNE) – Jury trials are back in New Bedford Superior and District Court.

Bristol County District Attorney Thomas Quinn says he’s pleased the trials have resumed for the first time since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Last week, Quinn;s office prosecuted a Fairhaven man for indecent assault and battery stemming from an August 2018 incident.

A district court jury convicted him.
