Dan Hurley wins Big East Coach of the Year

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — UConn Men’s Basketball Coach Dan Hurley was recognized as the Big East Coach of the Year in New York City on Wednesday.

Hurley and his team won the National Championship last year and this year’s Big East regular season title.

He had previously won the Atlantic 10 Conference Coach of the Year Award in 2018 with the University of Rhode Island.
