Delays and closures for state run COVID-19 testing and vaccination sites

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- The Rhode Island Department of Health has announced delays in their state run COVID-19 testing and vaccination sites, as well as cancellations for some community-based sites.

Due to the storm, the facilities will begin opening at 10 a.m. on Friday.

Community-run sites in Woonsocket, East Providence, Newport, and Warren will be closed all of Friday.

Those with vaccination appointments between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. at the Rhode Island Convention Center have been contacted by email, they will be allowed to walk in and receive a vaccination at a later point in the day. Those with testing appointments between the same hours have been contacted and will also be allowed to walk in at a later point in the day.
