FDA could grant full approval of Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine Monday
The FDA could grant full approval of Pfizer’s Vaccine as soon as Monday.
That’s according to a recent report from the New York Times.
Health officials are hoping full approval will boost confidence in the vaccine and then increase vaccination rates.
“For businesses and universities that have been thinking about putting vaccine requirements in place in order to create safer spaces for people to work and learn,” Dr. Vivek Murthy said. “I think that this move from the FDA will actually help them to move forward.”
More states and businesses are sending vaccine requirements in recent weeks including a mandate for teachers in Connecticut.
