Lincoln couple sells pins for those who have been vaccinated
LINCOLN, R.I. (WLNE)- A couple from Lincoln is selling pins to those that have been fully vaccinated.
Nathan and Melissa Kocon came up with the idea as a way for people to physically show that they’ve been fully vaccinated.
The pins come in multiple designs, and are made 100% in Rhode Island.
Since starting the business, the couple has sold over 15,000 pins nationwide.
Their website, https://pinningme.com/, has received orders from as far away as Hawaii and Puerto Rico.
“Seeing someone else you know vaccinated encourages others to do the same,” said Nathan.
Each pin costs $10, with a portion of each sale going towards more pins that will be donated to hospitals and frontline workers.
