New Shoreham Town Council to discuss updated mask mandate on Thursday

NEW SHOREHAM, RI (WLNE) – After a cluster of new COVID-19 cases- New Shoreham town councilors are expected to soon decided on whether or not to reinstate some sort of mask mandate.
According to Block Island health officials, 11 COVID-19 cases were traced back to the island over the last two weeks.
Three of those were people who were fully vaccinated.
The town council is expected to meet at 7 p.m. Thursday.
