Patriots CB Jack Jones arrested at Logan Airport, faces multiple weapons charges
BOSTON (WLNE) — New England Patriots cornerback Jack Jones was arrested at Logan Airport Friday night.
According to Massachusetts State Police, two firearms were found in Jones carry-on luggage.
The second-year player for the Pats is being charged with two counts of each of the following offenses:
- Possession of a concealed weapon in a secure area of an airport
- Possession of ammunition without a Firearm Identification Card
- Unlawful possession of a firearm
- Carrying a loaded firearm
- Possession of a large-capacity feeding device
TSA released a photo to ABC6 of the guns found in Jones’ bags:
Jones was booked at the State Police-Logan Airport Barracks. A bail commissioner set bail at $50,000. He will be arraigned next week in East Boston District Court.
A New England Patriots spokesperson telling ABC6 News Friday night: “We have been notified that Jack Jones was arrested at Logan Airport earlier today. We are in the process of gathering more information and will not be commenting further at this time.”
