Providence announces registration dates for vaccine

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- Providence Mayor, Jorge Elorza, announced on Friday that the city would be opening registration for COVID-19 vaccinations.

Residents 75 or older will be able to register to be vaccinated as early as Wednesday, February 17.

Appointments will also be available on Friday, February 19, and Saturday, February 20.

Residents who wish to sign up online can follow the link attached to the day they want to schedule an appointment for.

Those who aren’t able to register online can call 3-1-1 and speak with a Mayor’s Center for City Services Representative, who will walk them through the process.
