"Our goal is to vaccinate as many people as possible and to focus on the communities that have been hit the hardest."

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – Providence residents 65 and older from neighborhoods hit hard by COVID-19 will be able to register for their vaccine this week.
The vaccination clinics are scheduled for Friday and Saturday, and will give 65+ residents in the hardest-hit neighborhoods a chance to get vaccinated.
These neighborhoods are those with the following zip codes: 02907, 02908, 02909.
“Our goal is to vaccinate as many people as possible and to focus on the communities that have been hit the hardest,” said Mayor Jorge O. Providence residents ages 65+ living in zip codes 02907, 02908, and 02909 are urged to register for vaccination clinics through the online portal HERE.
Those unable to register for themselves are asked to call the Mayor’s Center for City Services by dialing 3-1-1 or (401)-421-2489 and a representative can fill out the registration form in English or Spanish.
