Gov. Raimondo moves press conference to Thursday instead of Wednesday this week

PROVIDENCE, RI (WLNE) – Gov. Gina Raimondo’s weekly coronavirus briefing this week has been rescheduled to 1 p.m. on Thursday.

The Governor’s briefings have usually been on Wednesdays recently but going forward her press conferences will now be on Thursdays at 1 p.m.

However, next week the Governor’s briefing will be on Wednesday at 1 p.m. due to Thanksgiving being on Thursday.

On Monday, RIDOH reported more than 1,000 new coronavirus cases on two separate days last week. This was a first for Rhode Island.
