RI reports 330 new positive cases of COVID-19, 3 deaths since Friday

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- The Rhode Island Department of Health released the state’s latest coronavirus data Monday.

Health officials reported 330 new positive cases of COVID-19 since Friday’s report.

Of the 2,688 tests administered Sunday, the state collected a positivity rate of 2.3%.

Three more Rhode Islanders died over the weekend, bringing the state’s death toll to 2,690.

According to data, there are currently 97 Rhode Islanders hospitalized for the virus. Of these patients, 20 are in the ICU and 18 are on a ventilator.

Over 440,000 Rhode Islanders have been fully vaccinated.
