RIDOH reports 1,232 new cases and 14 deaths related to COVID-19

PROVIDENCE, R.I (WLNE) – The Department of Health reported 1,232 new cases and 14 deaths related to COVID-19 on Wednesday.

The state’s total number of positive cases is now 68,299, and total deaths reached 1,484.

461 Rhode Islanders are currently hospitalized. 42 patients are in the ICU and 24 are on ventilators.

Rhode Island is seeing an 7.6% positivity rate from tests administered on Monday

The state has administered a total of 1,681,329 tests.
