RIDOH reports 158 new cases of coronavirus, 13 additional deaths

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – The Department of Health released Rhode Island’s latest coronavirus data on Tuesday.

The state reported 158 new positive cases of COVID-19 and 13 additional deaths since Monday’s report.

Health officials said out of the 5,763 tests administered on Monday, the positivity rate was 2.7%.

There are currently 307 Rhode Islanders hospitalized for the virus. 41 people are in the ICU and 25 are on a ventilator.

Since December 14, 26,861 Rhode Islanders have been fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
