RIDOH reports 169 new COVID-19 cases, no additional deaths

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- The Rhode Island Department of Health reported 164 new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday.
Health officials said out of the 7,979 tests administered the state collected a 2.1% positivity rate.
Rhode Island reported zero additional deaths, the state’s total remaining at 3,404.
There are currently 142 Rhode Islanders hospitalized for the virus. Data shows that 16 of these patients are in the ICU while 11 are on a ventilator.
