RIDOH reports 266 new COVID-19 cases, 1 additional death

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- The Rhode Island Department of Health reported 266 new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday.

Health officials said out of the 8,067 tests administered the state collected a 3.3% positivity rate.

Rhode Island reported one additional death, bringing the state’s total to 3,394.

There are currently 266 Rhode Islanders hospitalized for the virus. Data shows that 25 of these patients are in the ICU while 15 are on a ventilator.
