RIDOH reports 4 new COVID-19 deaths and 145 new cases

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – The Rhode Island Department of Health released the latest COVID-19 numbers on Tuesday.

According to RIDOH, 4 more deaths have been reported.  This brings Rhode Island’s death toll to 1,125.

The Department of Health reported that there were 145 new cases, after 7,168 tests were taken on Monday. The positivity rate increased to 2.0%.

The total positive cases in the state is now at 25,596.

As of Tuesday, 92 Rhode Islanders are hospitalized, seven are in ICU, and four are on a ventilator.
