RIDOH reports 42 new coronavirus cases, no new deaths

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- The Rhode Island Department of Health reported 42 new cases and no new deaths on Thursday.

These new numbers bring the state’s total cases to 151,743.

Rhode Island reported no additional deaths, keeping the state’s total at 2,708.

There are currently 66 Rhode Islanders hospitalized for the virus. Data shows that 14 of these patients are in the ICU and 9 are on a ventilator.

Since mid-December, 647,246 Rhode Islanders have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. The state reported 548,024 Rhode Islanders have been fully immunized.
