RIDOH reports 47 new coronavirus cases, 2 new deaths

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- The Rhode Island Department of Health reported 47 new cases and 2 new deaths on Monday.

These new numbers bring the state’s total cases to 151,502.

Rhode Island reported one additional death, bringing the state’s total to 2,707.

There are currently 67 Rhode Islanders hospitalized for the virus. Data shows that 15 of these patients are in the ICU and 10 are on a ventilator.

Since mid-December, 637,903 Rhode Islanders have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. The state reported 536,640 Rhode Islanders have been fully immunized.
