RIDOH reports 4,885 new COVID-19 cases, 11 additional deaths

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- The Rhode Island Department of Health reported 4,885 new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday.
Health officials said out of the 26,450 tests administered the state collected a 18.5% positivity rate.
Rhode Island reported 11 additional deaths, bringing the state’s total to 3,107.
There are currently 405 Rhode Islanders hospitalized for the virus. Data shows that 51 of these patients are in the ICU while 38 are on a ventilator.
The state reported 805,324 Rhode Islanders have been fully immunized.
The total amount of doses administered sits at 1,970,596.
