RIDOH reports 666 new cases of COVID-19, nine additional fatalities

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – The Rhode Island Department of Health released the latest COVID-19 data for the state on Tuesday.
Since last Friday, there have been 666 new positive cases of COVID-19 and nine new deaths, bringing the state death toll to 1,139.
Out of the 5,855 tests taken on Monday, RIDOH reported a 2.2% positivity rate.
There are 126 Rhode Islanders hospitalized, 10 people in ICU, and six on a ventilator.
