RIDOH reports 71 new COVID-19 cases, 3 deaths Tuesday

PROVIDENCE, RI (WLNE) – The Rhode Island Department of Health added 71 new cases and three deaths to the state’s COVID-19 data on Tuesday.

According to state health data, 3,492 COVID-19 tests were recorded on Monday.

Rhode Island’s COVID-19 death toll is at 906.

There are currently 105 people in the hospital, 19 in the ICU, and 17 are on a ventilator.

RIDOH has recorded 16,553 positive cases throughout the pandemic so far.
