Riverside, Weaver Libraries close after staff member tests positive for COVID-19

EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – The City of East Providence announced Sunday evening that Weaver Library will be closed until further notice, after a staff member tested positive for COVID-19.

In a release, the City states that contact tracing has begun and all staff members who came in contact with the employee who tested positive will quarantine.

Additionally, Riverside Library will be closed as well out of caution.
