Things to do this Fourth of July

PROVIDENCE, R.I (WLNE) – As many major events have been canceled due to social distance and safety protocols amid the COVID-19 pandemic, join ABC6 for a growing list of 4th of July events and celebrations you can attend this year.
BRISTOL:
A vehicle procession with lite entertainment is set to begin at 8:30 AM and will start at the corner of Chestnut Strete and Hope Street. The procession is about 45 minutes long and the community is asked to adhere to social distancing protocols.
WARWICK:
A concert headlined by 80s cover band, He Said She Said, at Harbor Lights. This is an outdoor and socially distanced show scheduled for 6:00 PM.
BARRINGTON:
A socially distanced cookout called “Cookout in the Court”. Grills are being pulled into a socially-distanced circle in Hope Court. Those in attendance are asked to bring food ONLY for themselves and their family. This is from 5:00 PM – 8: 00 PM.
GLOCESTER:
Instead of a parade, residents are encouraged to participate in the Independence day celebration by turning their homes into floats. Certificates will be awarded to the best of multiple categories, including “Most Ancient and Horrible” in honor of the parade’s namesake. This is set to being at 3:00 PM on Friday.
SOUTH KINGSTOWN:
This year, South Kingstown will recognize the 4th of July celebration at Old Mountain Field at 9:30 AM with a live-streamed flag-raising ceremony.
CUMBERLAND:
The Arnold Mills July Fourth Parade and Road Race will be held virtually this year and will feature a wave parade through town. The parade is set to begin at 10:00 AM
