Court date for nursing home patient accused of murder delayed again

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The arraignment of a former nursing home patient accused of killing another patient set for Wednesday was moved.
Police said Robert Hill, 76, was arrested in connection to the death of an 81-year-old man at Crestwood Nursing and Rehabilitation in Warren.
His court date has been delayed several times.
Hill faces a first degree murder charge in the victim’s death on April 28.
Prosecutors indicted Hill on the charge in August.
Hill was initially charged with first degree murder after his arrest, but was deemed incompetent to stand trial.
His indictment moved the case to Providence County Superior Court.
